2014 Hall of Fame Recipient

Our 6th Annual Elegant Evening Benefit Ball held in 2014 at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center, featured our first Hall Of Fame “Acorn to an Oak Tree.” This recognition honors a graduate of the center who has grown to accomplish positive things in the community, and has shown great promise.

The inaugural honoree, Jerica Jannyse McCall graduated from Fourth Street Day Care Center in 1998. She graduated from Central High School in 2012 with a full academic scholarship to Alabama State University. Her accomplishments include being a Columbus Ledger Enquirer Page One Nominee in Citizenship, and earning the Girl Scout Gold Award for her service project “Loving Luggage”. Jerica is now employed with Davis Broadcasting Inc. in Columbus, GA.

It is our belief that quality child care is the foundation for all young children. This event and recognition helps provide significant revenue in continuing our mission to assist families in the community with tuition costs, and helps acorns to become oak trees.
